How do you remove a fender?

Front fender? Lift the hood, open the front door on the same side as the fender to be removed. Under the rim of the hood, you'll find a line of bolts holding the top of the fender in place. Inside the door opening, you'll find one or two more bolts holding the rear of the fender in place. You may also find one bolt under the rear corner of the fender, fully underneath the vehicle. You'll also need to remove the turn signal housing, any side marker light, and possibly the headlight - all with screws - and you may still find one bolt up front, where a steel strut holds the frontmost bottom corner of the fender in place.

When you get all those fasteners removed, you pretty much just wiggle the fender off the car.

Need to replace radio antenna on a 99 isuzu rodeo

I just replaced the antenna on our 02 rodeo. No need to remove radio or anything in dash. This is how I did it.
First you will need access to back of fender, enough room for your hand. Open hood and remove 3 bolts running along top of fender, open passenger door and remove top bolt holding fender. Gently pry top of fender away from vehicle. Place object in gap to hold fender ( I used the head of a rubber mallet). Reach inside fender and disconnect old antenna, follow cable through wall into passenger compartment. Gently pull cable from behind carpet and unplug old antenna from coupler. Connect new antenna to fender ( replacement antenna I ordered was slightly smaller than opening so I had to add washer). Run new antenna cable through wall and plug into coupler. Re-attach fender

1994 Mercury Topaz Fender Removal

Harbor Freight and most local body shop supply stores should have a suction-cup type tool for pulling out dents. You maybe able to remove the inner fender well to get to the dent. To remove the fender, you'll need to remove the top fender bolts, the bolts that attach it to the header panel, and the bolts holding it on back by the door.

Need to remove left fender

Leff front fender? Disconnect the battery, remove the turn-light that;s beside the headlamp. Get a 10mm socket and wrench to remove the bolts holding the fender to the body. Same bolts are below the fender. Then use a flat-end screw-diiver to pry-off the fender.

Replacing the Right Front Fender on a 1999 Mazda 626

Can you remove the wheel well splash shield and get access to the bolts? Body shop techs have a special tool to get into this area.

Here's a 97 Probe whcih was the same as a 626 in 1997:

How do I remove a wrecked front fender assy/quarter panel?

The front fenders are connected to the A pillar above the the top hinge, at the bottom of the rocker panel seam, three bolts pass through the hood hinge support in the middle of the fender, four bolts on the radiator support, three vertical bolts on the top radiator brace, and one bolt at the rear of the wheelhouse to the cab body. Yes, the wheelhouse is spot welded to the fender and must be removed with it. Remove all the bolts listed as well as the bolts retaining the splash shield. The splash shield is a plastic liner connected to both the wheelhouse and the fender. Remove the headlight/cornering lamp assembly. The best way I have found to do this is to loosen the bumper to framebrackets and let the bumper assembly sag to gain clearance. If the upper bumper cover is removed to gain the clearance needed you will more than likely need to get a new cover as the nylon clips have a tendency to break during removal. Once the fender/wheelhouse assembly has been removed use a spot weld cutter to separate the wheelhouse from the old fender. Check the new fender for clearance and fit on the vehicle. Make all the needed adjustments to get the fender to fit correctly. Remove the fender and attach the wheelhouse. This should be done by spot welding. It can also be done using bolts. If using bolts place some 3M double stick weather strip adhesive tape in the seam to prevent direct contact of the parts to prevent rattles and squeaks. Drill the new fender to match the holes made by the spot weld cutter in the wheelhouse. Use stainless bolts and lock nuts so that the assembly can be services if needed. I would also recommend using Wurth Rust Inhibitor on all the seams to prevent rust and once cured it is an excellent adhesive and will reduce noise coming from moving body panels. Good Luck. It is not as bad as it sounds. Take your time and it will be worth the effort.
