Fluid pumps from back but not from front windshield washer on my 1999 jeep grand cherokee

The pump for it on the bottom of the washer reservoir may be bad, or the wire may have got unplugged. The rear washer has its own separate reservoir and pump.
If the pump for the front works, the lines may be plugged.
Good luck.

Hi...I have a 1999 Jeep cherokee Sport. The windshield washer quit..dont know if it is a clogged line or a pump. Not hearing the pump when I activate. Also lines appear to be hidden.

This is most likely due to the washer pump going out. I just replaced mine on my 2000 cherokee. There is a front and back pump which is located under the drivers side fender. You will have to remove the plastic corner bumper to get access to the pumps. This is an easy job to do yourself. Dont forget to have something ready to drain the fluid into when you remove the pump from the washer tank. The front pump is located below the rear pump.

Windshield washer doesn't work. The fluid tank is full. I don't hear the pump trying to run. Could it be the pump or pump motor? I can't locate it.

it may be a blown fuse, check the fuses or it could be the pump motor, the pump motor is at the bottom of the fluid tank, also check the wiring.....hope this helps.....cheers

2001 jeep cherokee windshield washer pump not working

Can you hear the washer pump run when it is activated? If so check for a split small hose at the washer reservoir. You may need to repalce the pump. It is in the bottom for the washer fluid reservoir.

The washer pump is located on the washer bottle. Must check for power at pump when applying switch if no power (12 volts) check fuse or curcuit. If it has power replace pump. Also: if pump is operational check hoses for resteictions.

Washer pump is not working 99 Jeep cherokee

I think that on the fuse pannel it should say which fuse goes to what. If the fuse is still good, try making sure the connections are tight. If they are replace the pump.
