Question about 2005 Volkswagen Jetta
I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler. There is heat blowing from the vents, but the heater fan won't turn on. It started out only working on high, so we ordered the resistor. By the time the resistor arrived, the fan wasn't working at all. We replaced the resistor, fan motor, the control panel, and fuses. Now the cigarette lighters won't work. One was working until yesterday. It's supposed to be below zero next week, and I drive 45 minutes to work. Help!!
Seriously I would be making a jumper wire to the battery for the blower .. power it directly..as long as you put a fuse in the line..and an on-off switch..

SOURCE: cigarette lighter broken
under the dash on the drivers side... there's also a fuse panel in the engine compartment near the battery...and i don't know about VW but bmw's have them in the trunk as well.... so if it's not under the dash look in the trunk.
Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks
