My 2008 chevy impala with 3.5 v6 sputters and hesitates going up hill, always between 1500 and 200 rpms, why?

What more to add, other then when I step on the gas and increase the rpms over 2000 it quits stuttering and sputtering

I've been having the same problem, and it's been driving me nuts (3 trips to mechanic to replace spark plugs, wiring, and check transmission). After talking to Chevy customer service, I believe the problem is a faulty throttle body sensor (for which there is a service bulletin and repair at a dealership is free for MOST models). Hope this helps!

Check for a vacuum leak, Faulty emissions system, Check plugs and wires for damage, Fault in fuel or electrical system and incorrect fuel grade. Try these things first. Hope that Helps

Have someone do a back pressure test on you catalytic converter. I had the same problem and it turned out that my converter was almost completely plugged. I was also getting a check engine light indicating a misfire on cylinder 4. Once the converter was replaced, the problems went away.

SOURCE: Chevy truck sputters/hesitates when I press the throttle

My First thought is fuel injectors pull off your air intake and airfilter cover spacer. start your engine look at the injectors you should see i steady stream of fuel spraying in. if you don't replace your fuel filter, injectors. If you can try to make sure your fuel lines isnt clogged.

What does low oil pressure on 2008 Chevy Impala 3.5 V6 LS

Do you mean what causes low oil pressure? This is a very reliable engine for the most part. If the oil light is on or gauge is reading low, have the oil pressure sensor inspected for failure. These sensors do go bad.

Chevy uplander going uphill sputters and check engine light blinks multiple times?

Usually a sputter will occur under load conditions like going up hill from a lack of fuel. Start by changing the fuel filter.

Loosing power

Wow, I just went through the same problem and guess what it was a clogged converter and a bad oxyegen sensor. The garaged fixed it up for me by putting an eco converter on it and a new O2 sensor. I have a 2003 Chevy Impala,V6 3.8 engine. Good Luck!!!!
