Fuel air mixture too rich on a 98 nissan pathfinder

My guess would be a fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator problem, or a Mass air flow sensor.

My 2005 pathfinder was having the same problem. Took it to the dealer and they told me that there was a re-call on a relay that goes to the ECU. They suggested a engine diagnostics. 1993 pathfinder- rough running when cold, runs fine after warming up. how do i test coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor and mass air sensor, or what do i do to figure this out?

It should run smooth no matter the temp. Dash o2 light will indicate if it is bad. I would start looking for a vacuum leak.
