I found this out today cause I was gonna clean mine. All you need is to use a mild detergent with warm water thats it. You can also get a bottle of like simple green and spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two and put it in the warm water, do not overflow the water into the filter. After that move it around so the dirt comes off and change the water and do it again but with only water, when there is no more dirt time to let it dry. After that put it on, Good luck with that laterz

2002 dodge caravan jerks on reverse an drive..gave a tuneup..new gas filter//cleaned the throttle body//I don't know what's wrong on it..help

jerking can be a number of things, as you say you have cleaned the throttle body new filter for the fuel, when cleaning its best to change the air filter or at least checking it to make sure its clean and not blocked up. you can also sometime inadvertently dislodge something in the fuel line and this can limit the fuel, but i would thing it would show more signs, it could need the spark plugs cleaning, it could be a build up of carbon on the plugs and now the system is cleaner the mix is not igniting good, so i would check and clean them, lower rev's need a better spark. i would also check the breather lines from the cam to the intake especially the thine one as this can block up and limit the airflow into the engine. so really its just clean these parts and see if there is any change.

Throttle body cleaning

Tbi cleaning alone won't fix it. The entire intake (big black plastic intake manifold) needs to be removed and cleaned. Also clean any soot on the head intake runners. And replace intake gasket. Be sure to remove all sensors from the intake before you clean it. Use rags that won't leave lint behind and intake cleaner.

Rpms bounce up and down while accelerating

When bouncing, does the engine speed go up and down. If not, the gauge may be bad, or if the engine sounds like it speeds up, try cleaning the throttle body by spraying throttle body cleaner into the intake/throttle and wipe clean with a clean cloth. Do this 2x's. You will have to remove the intake pipe that connects to the filter box and intake. After cleaning this, it may seem hard to start for a second, it's because of the cleaner. Don't worry it will start.

Wondering what is the best type of oil to use for a 2009 toyota camry? Synthetic vs. other??

well synthetic is with out a doubt the best,,,,ive seen car run regular oil for 50k miles and it was changed every 3000 miles and the inside of the engines were clean but brown inside from sludge and build up,ive seen the same thing where oil was changed every 6000 with reg oil and the engines are black inside,,and ive seen engine that run synthetic oil and they look almost new inside, the difference is clear that syn oil is far better,,but just remember your engine stays cleaner with syn oil but it does so because the oil picks up more dirt and lubricates better,,,so dont forget to change the oil filter cause now even more dirt will be getting trapped in it,beacuse of the better cleaning properties of the syn oil,,,,almost any syn oil is good, but MOBIL 1,AMSOIL are the best,,,,,they cost more but well worth it due to lack of engine repairs,,,i would still change oil every 4000 or so

Sputtering

It may sound obvious, but have you changed your inline fuel filter? if so, try a"fuel system cleaning" next.  available at most oil change garages. It runs anywhere between $60-120 and does a pretty thorough job of flushing out the fuel injectors and cleaning out of all the fuel delivery components. I've seen some amazing results with the flush.

EGR Valve Cleaning on a 1999 4.3 Silverado

If it is not just badly clogged, the intake does not need to be cleaned out. If you want to clean it out then take some brake cleaner and spray it in there and wipe it with a rag. I have never seen someone have to clean the intake due to not being clogged. Just my expierence I would just change the EGR and go from there

No restart when warm audi 100

Do you checked the petrol filter? It can be simple as that.
check the MAF, the spark plugs and cabling, air filter, petrol pump.
I had the same problem with mine (same year, same model), I cleaned all the air intake system, fuel line, and now it's perfect (even needing to change petrol filter, i didn't changed it yet). Careful cleaning the MAF, if you don't know how to do it don't do it, ask an expert near you.
If you can't solve the problem this way, search for air or fuel leaks.

I solved mine cleaning the fuel line and the air intake system.
