From inside the vehicle you hit the switch to unlock the doors and immediately resets to the lock position and you are unable to open the door.
Check the connections and wiring see if its shorting out on some medal parts inside the door

The plastic door handle is broken.
You will need to get a replacement door handle.

Look under your steering wheel right under the dash. There should be a small white strip with 5 numbers. This is your master code for your vehicle. If you bought the car used and they give you a code, they could have made their own code, but the master will override it. If this don't help, the module for the doors may be going bad.

This link is from the handle to the latch. The door panel has to be removed in order for this problem to be fixed. The linkage is inside the door panel, it is a small diamater metal rod called a link. If you do the job yourself be careful not to break the door panel. In a shop, the labor is 1 hour for the job & if any, parts will be a seperate charge.
