2006 lexus ES330 power mirror works sometimes.. Need help fixing

I have a 2006 Lexus ES330, which I love. The only problem is, is that when you put the car in reverse the power mirrors are supposed to automatically pan down, and the driver side does this SOMETIMES. It goes left to right but occasionally pans up and down, not just only when I put it in reverse. can anyone give me a solution to the problem?

I have a related problem. In my case, the right side mirror doesn't move up and down at all ( even when I try using controls). Though it moves left-right. Driver side mirror is working fine. I would appreciate if someone could provide some insight before I take it for repair.

SOURCE: The driver's side mirror does not work on my Lexus

try moving in the up/down postions with you hand...could have debris jamming the gears inside.

could be a loose connector in the power bezel. pop it off and check the connectors.

SOURCE: 2004 rx330 passenger side mirror wobbly

On the bottom of the mirror casing there are three screws - one visible and two hidden by a plastic panel. To open the plastic panel use a small knife or screwdriver and pop it open using the small **** on one edge of the panel. Careful - if one or both of the screws are completely loose, they will drop on the ground and most likely end up in that endless black hole where all those socks go when we wash them. ;)

SOURCE: Replace the side mirror cover on 2001 Lexus IS 300

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: my drivers side mirror was bumped and now does not line up?

if the glass is broken or need it replaced. You need to remove the door panel approx. five phillips head screws, remove the triangular plastic cover in the corner or the window. Remove the 3 ten mm bolts, if electrical mirror then disconnect and replace. The screws to remove the door are behind the handle, you need to pop uo the window control panel in the door and then search for the other screws. There are many clips along the door panel so some slight pulling is needed.

How do I fix lighter fuse in 2005 Lexus ES330?

under the controls for the side view mirrors, behind the coin holder cup. open the coin cup & pull up on the cup until it pops out of place. on the back of the coin cup is the fuse diagram. its the "cig" on the 3rd column, top row, "15a". there are some spare fuses under the hood. open the hood & its on the right of the engine in the black box that's about 10in by 4in big. open the cover & look at the fuse diagram & look for the spares on the top right.

How to turn off Check Engine light on 2004 Lexus ES330? Had Autozone hook up computer and it said the the gas cap was the problem. I tightened cap as much as possible but light still on.

Sometimes the light will stay on for 100-500 miles depending on the fault code. You can disconnect the battery to reset it, but you will have to reset the radio and other memory such as seats mirrors.
