Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
I have 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the engine light on. Diagnostics showed p1762 "Manufac. Contrl Transmission" What do I do?
Tranny guy says the gov sensor has magnets that are too close to the metal pan and they don't last long, this is the second time in 3 years 2002 jgl

Had the same code on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Started having shifting problems as well. Code is for governor pressure sensor on trans. Cost me about $800 for dealer to fix. No problems after part changed out.
