Dose the signals flash really fast or get stuck in the on position when used?

"having issues" doesn't give a clue as to what is wrong.

If your turn signal lights are flashing erratically and they sometimes get stuck in the on position when used, this will confirm a flasher malfunction. Now, if the turn signal bulbs don't work or flash when you initiate the flashing sequence, via the switch, this will confirm switch or bulbs failure.

Ii recommend inspecting the bulbs for bad filament or rods. if the bulbs have black or gray smudges on the front part of the glass, you will need to replace the turn signal bulbs in this case.

if the bulbs check out fine, this will point directly to the switch. Just to be sure, do an inspection on the turn signal bulb wiring harness as well. inspect thoroughly for worn or ripped wires.

In most cases, its the switch but, i would inspect all areas stated above.

Where is the turn signal flasher unit located on a 1990 oldsmobile ninety eight regency brougham?

DONT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM! THAT MAY COST U MORE. Let the tech do it. Something like a bad flasher is a simple issue. If u have a fair tech u wont be soaked in labor. Getting back to your question, the flasher is located in the fuse box. If the flasher was NG the lights would show on the dash but would not flash. u may have an electrical short in the turn signal switch circuit. u can try changing the flasher (its simple & inexpensive enough) but it may not solve your problem. Remove the flasher, put on the turn signal & w a test light, test the connector on the fuse box for voltage. Jump the connector to see if the light activates. If so replace the flasher. If u don't want to test just replace the flasher as a test. Good luck

No turning signals

Turn Signal Lamps
The turn signal lamps are made up of the front park/turn signal lamps and rear turn signal lamps. The front turn signal lamps flash with the rear turn signal lamps when a turn is initiated using the turn signal/multifunction lever. The turn signals will operate only with the ignition switch in the RUN position and will not operate during hazard flasher operation.
When the ignition is turned to the RUN position, battery voltage is supplied to the TURN SIGNAL, CORN LPS Fuse. Battery voltage is then applied through the TURN SIGNAL, CORN LPS fuse circuit to the hazard warning switch. The hazard switch supplies a turn signal flasher signal to the turn signal switch. With the turn signal switch in the LH or RH position the corresponding turn signal indicator, rear turn signal, and front turn signal receive the turn signal switch signal and will flash. The front turn signals receive the turn signal switch signal from the turn signal switch via the body control module (BCM) . The front turn lamps are grounded at G101. The rear turn lamps are grounded at G301 and G302.

How do i change a turn signal relay on a 2000 Chrysler Concorde

The Combination Flasher, also referred to as the combo-flasher, is mounted to the in-line bracket which is located to the right of the Junction Block. The flasher can be removed by pulling in a rearward direction. The left under panel silencer duct must be removed to access the flasher. The combo-flasher is black in color for ease of identification.
The Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Flasher is combined into one unit called a Combination Flasher (Combo-Flasher). The combo-flasher controls the flashing of the hazard warning system and the turn signal system. An inoperative bulb or incomplete turn signal circuit will result in an increase in flasher speed.

I have an 02 kia sportage. my signal lights come on but dont blink outside. no lights for the signal lights come on on the dash at all. also, no hazard lights.

If the 15A HAZARD fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box is OK, power is getting to the hazard function of the flasher unit. Pressing the hzard switch should cause the hazard lights to flash. HOWEVER, there is an electronic time and warning indication system module connected to to the hazard switch lead and that may be affecting things. If the 10A TURN fuse is OK, power is applied to the turn switch (with the engine in START or RUN) and you state you can select a right or left turn. HOWEVER, the RED/WHT and RED/BLU outputs from the flasher unit connect directly to the front and rear turn lamps and the instrument cluster turn indicators so you are not getting any flasher output. Again, that electronic time & warning indication system module could be affecting things
