How can i find the Location of the BCM on a 2006 Ford Focus?

it needs to have a matching program for the ecm and the immobiliser. A new key cut to the existing barrel/lock and programmed to the vehicle ecm will solve the problem. Even if you get a new barrel and key you will still have to have it reprogrammed to the ecm and immobiliser system

Technically you don't. You may be able to have the lock cylinder replaced and a new key cut at the dealer from the VIN number.
The new key has to match the old chip.

most Gm use a chip in the keys. the doors with be easy to ,but the ignition will not. you will need to go to the dealership and have them remove the lock from the ignition and re program the new key

Im working on a 96 chevy astro van and the starter wont turn replaced starter with new one and it still wont turn the relays and fuses are all good. I also replaced the ignition switch and still wont turn...

Most likely it is the anti theft module. The computer thinks the car has been stolen. The only solution I have been able to find is to tow it to a dealer. They are the only one who can reprogram the module in the steering column to match your existing keys. It is a huge secret and they will lie to you about how it is done. There is a special computer they use that is kept under lock and key and when they plug it in to your car, it connects to the factory and the mechanic at your dealer does not even know what happens. I have searched the internet for hours and hours and the information is not out there. Your auto club should pay the tow. Make sure you keep the door lock remote or spare key in your pocket because the computer will lock the doors without warning and if the keys are in the ignition you are screwed.

I have one key for the doors and another for ignition

Obviously the car was either in an accident and had the door(s) replaced with ones having locks not matching the ignition or the ignition was replaced and doesn't match the door keys. I'd go further and guess that it was the ignition that was replaced since you 1 key for the doors and a 2nd key for the ignition.

Cae was stolen and recovered. they broke the ignition. how do I replace the steering column Is it necessary to replace the entire column?

Hi,

I am sure this would work by just replacing the ignition switch, not the entire steering column.

However it also depends on how bad was it broken.

Please let us know for future assistance.
