Question about 2006 Ford Focus ZX4
My headlight on driver side wont stay on. I think its a problem with one of the wire harnesses. Specifically a small square shaped one that is attacked directly to the headlight assembly. Its burnt on both male and female points and also does not make a proper connection. Have not been able to find the part anywhere, mainly due to not knowing the proper name or part number. Thanks.

I noticed this is 6 months old so I don't know if you have figured it out yet but heres an answer for you. On the back of the headlights there are 3 plastic heads, they turn but spray some wd40 or something on them first. You might have to take the headlights assembly out to get a good bite on them.

SOURCE: starter wont engage
The problem is either the starter solinoid (located on fender near battery) or you are not getting power to the "s" terminal on the starter solinoid from the ignition switch. If you follow the positive battery cable from the battery you'll follow it to the solinoid. Remove the small wire from the terminal marked "s" on the solinoid and using a screwdriver jump from "s" terminal (not the wire) to where positive battery cable connects to solinoid. (with battery connected). If starter doesn't do anything the solinoid is bad. If starter cranks then you are not getting voltage from ignition switch through "s" terminal wire.
