Question about 2001 Kia Sportage
I have a 2001 Kia sportage and the hold light is on...what does that mean?
WHAT DO THE HOLD LIGHT MEAN ON A2001 KIA SPORTAGE?

Assuming a first generation Sportage, sounds like a problem with the vehicle speed sensor on the back of the transfer case (4wd) or transmission extension housing (2wd).
Could be as simple as a corroded/broken wire, through to a malfunction in the sensor. Take it to Autozone and get the codes read and let us know what they are (to be absoluteluy sure...).
