SOURCE: Timing Belt, Radiator, Water pump....

If the timing belt broke on a 1.8 turbo usually the valves in the head strike the pistons. You have to have the head removed to check the pistons. When did the radiator crack? Water pump isn't an expensive part but the rest with work hours and parts will be. Might be able to get a used engine but just make sure that belt and pump are replaced with new along with all the tensionners so the same doesn't happen. Also make sure the oil pressure is good. Sorry for the loss.

SOURCE: how do I replace a headlight bulb in a 2006 aveo

you can access the bulbs from inside the engine compartment. the socker turns about a quarter turn to remove it. do NOT touch the bulb with your fingers as that will shorten the bulb life. you may have to remove the battery to change the one on that side.

SOURCE: Water Pump has gone in my Audi

it's not an easy job. and requires removal of many components in the front of the engine.  However, you can go the the public libuary an look up a Haynes or Chilton auto repair manual.  Good luck and you'll need a good set of tools and this would also be an excellent time to change the timing belt.

SOURCE: im replacing timing belt, accessory belts and water pump on my hyundai elantra gls 1997 sta wgn auto transmission. (1)Where is bolt to drain engine block coolant?(2)After removing front engine mountin

(1) No need to know if engine block coolant drain plug was available. Once the water pump was removed, all engine block coolant was drained. (2) After removing the three engine mounting bracket bolts, I also removed the mount bracket from the the body and made enough room to replace the timing belt easier.

Leaking water pump audi 80 2.6l v6

Grant, you need to check if the pump is ok with your model engine, not just the car model number, these cars were fitted with at least four
different engine variants that i am aware of.
i don't think you should attempt to fit it if you don't know at least that much, sometimes the cambelt has to be removed first, thats a whole
different kind of level of experise required.
good luck

A4 leaking coolant and overheating I keep adding coolant and its getting worse, how do I know if its the water pump or coolant flange?

Hi - If its the water pump, it will seem to be running down the front of engine behind the pulleys. Also it will quickly get progressively worse.

If not the water pump, then you should be able to see the leak from a hose fitting (either end with clamp on) OR if radiator will be dribbling out at very front of car.

If helpful, please vote.

As you are looking at the engine the water pump is located at the bottom left front corner of the engine.

How to change a water pump in a 2001 nissan frontier v6 (non supercharge)

you need to remove the whole front end of the engine apart. the pump is behind the timing belt. may as well replace that and the crank and cam seals while you in there.

Waterpump failure. Rattling and water leaking. Do I just replace waterpump, or do I go all out and replace cambelt and tensioners, timers, seals etc

I'm not sure about Audi 80's, but on A4's you have to pull the whole front of the car off (bumper, headlights, radiators, radiator support panel - the a/c radiator just moves out of the way thanks to long rubber hoses, so not discharge/recharge necessary), but then you get fantastic access and it's really not that hard a job (an hour give or take).
If you are going this far, do the timing belt, thermostat and accessary belts. For an extra $100 in parts, you only pay about another 30 mins labour. And if you're doing it yourself - well, you're there anyway!
If getting done professionally, go to a VW/Audi specialist as they will have the specialist tools necessary for the job - a regular garage WILL NOT!!

Thermostat jammed, car overheating

Probably right between the two banks of cylinders, at the front of the V behind the top of the timing case. Not worked on this engine in particular but thats where they usually are on V6's.
