It sounds like you've done just about everything except to check if there is a bad or intermittent wire causing this or perhaps your low-pressure safety cutout switch is possible going bad causing the compressor to kick on and off?

The amount of freon i need to put in my 1991 toyota corolla ?

well in that year they used r12 refrigerant ! today they use r134a refrigerant they are not interchangable if you have already converted to r134a they you can call toyota and ask for specific amount although you really dont need to know all you need is a can of r134a with a gauge on it if it
75-80 degrees outside the pressure should be between 40-45 pounds if its 85-90 degrees between 45-50 pounds on the low side were you add it so basiclly keep adding till those pressures are reached

please do not add r134a if you have not had system converted over from r12

Intermittantly when im in stop & go traffic my jeep 1997 grand cherokee will die (stop running). ill wait afew minuts and it starts fine & i usually get to my destination, but this is unacceptable....

self test is with the ignition key switch. you need to cycle the key off-on, off-on, off-on. The check engine light will flash out codes in pairs of numbers. The end of the test will be 5-5. report back with codes. But I'm betting its the crank position sensor.

AC compressor cycling on and off every 4-5 seconds, RPM has dropped. Low pressure side has not increased much after about 12oz of R134a has been added. Low side reading is currently about 36 lbs.

still need more freon-will short cycle when ur driving or bring up the revs because the low side will drop- average would be at or about 55 when running higher than idle

Air conditioner is blowing hot air out what should i add

On a 92 you might still have the old refrigant that you cannot mix with R134A. You will need to adapt the system the new R134A (gaskets etc....). Does the compressor come on?

The clucth in my 97 taurus keeps trying to kick in ,how can I fix

the a/c clutch should cycle on and off 4 to 7 times/miunte depending on air temperature. if it's cycling n & off several times/minute, you are probably low on R134a. Add a can to see if the cycling lessens. get a hose kit with a gauhe on it that tells you if you are getting overcharged.
