Open up the sunroof and try to unclog the drainage. You will see this from the inside of the ML by opening the whole sunroof and stickin your hear thru. On the drivers side you will see a drainage whole similar to the passenger side. Mine did the same thing and unclogged it with a straw. firstname.lastname@example.org

most cases,the front drain tubes go down the A pillars and out into the wheel area.(may be behind the inner wheel well and won't be able to see them until its removed. the rear drains usually dump out behind rear doors. best option is to get a Xterra manual and look it up to be sure. can also use a old inner speedo cable to clear the front tubes,the rears can be more challenging.
