2004 jeep lardeo starts up but in drive it want stay running
I found my own results to does who are having the same problem i was double check vacum hose behind the map sensor and egr valve a simple 1.50 hose did the trick

Had the same problem. After new water pump, radiator, thermostat and lot of frustration it turned out to be the cap and the resovour bottle. Found out Jeep recalled original bottle because the plastic would get hot and then soften up which would break pressurized seal at the cap. Replace bottle and cap or try a good compression clamp around cap,(cheap fix,but hassel when adding anti-freeze).

NEED MORE DETAILS. When (engine hot or cold or both); how is the idle, (steady and even or rough?) how about the fuel filter when was it replaced? Otherwise, did you check the ground on the chassis?
Otherwise, we will need more DETAILS.
