The fuel pump relay should be near the driver side fender or the battery along with other relays. It should have a dark green and yellow wire that goes to the inertia switch, a red wire that goes to the EEC relay, and two other wires that may be light blue and orange. The wire that powers the pump goes to the inertia switch then to the pump.
Hello poppylambert: My name is Roger and I will help you. The fuel pump relay is located under the hood. Locate the fuse box on the left fender. Remove the cover and turn it over. You will find a listing and location of all fuses and relays on the inside of the cover. The relay is not under the vehicle. The fuel pump how ever is located inside of the fuel tank. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
See picture below where the fuel pump cut off switch is located. The fuel pump relay is located in the power distribution box located in the engine compartment (see other picture). The relay is located in the R7 position in that box (see layout diagrams below). There is also a fuse for the fuel pump which is located in the same fuse panel. That fuse is in the nuber 12 position and should be a 15 amp fuse. All of this should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this helps and good luck.
The Fuel Pump Relay is located in the Glove Box under a little cover on the upper left side. The Fuel Control Relay is the left relay and The Fuel Pump Relay is the right. To test these relays, swap them and then try to start the vehicle, or blow the horn. If the horn blows then use that relay for the pump and you may at least drive the vehicle where needed! If the vehicle starts, then replace them as a pair.
There is not a Switch for the Fuel Pump. Look under the Hood and Locate the Fuse Relay Box. Inside this Box is a Relay for the Fuel Pump. The Diagram should be inside the Box Cover or Inside the Owners Manual. Replace this Relay and it should Start unless the Fuel Pump needs to be Replaced. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
no it doesn't. the fuel pum has a relay that is located in the junction box under the hood if your vehicle is not starting because your not getting fuel check the relay. I use the a/c clutch relay to switch with the fuel pump relay if the vehicle starts just replace the relay if the vehicle doesn't start then you have a bad fuel pump...please rate
