The low beam on my 2007 ml 350 won't work. We replaced the whole headlight assembly and it still won't come on. Any suggestions

Headlight relay or combination switch. (Probably the switch).

You could check by removing the two covers around the steering column, remove the electrical connector from the existing switch, and plugging in a new switch, and test to see if that gives low beams. (If not, return the switch and try a new relay).

Headlight relay

its probably the combination switch on the steering column, as these vehicles don't have a relay for the headlights. The most common problem with the headlights are all the grounds that are used. Check all your headlight grounds, and if you still have a problem, its your combination switch.

Left side headlamp would work on low beam only, replace with ner bulb but problem still exist

Hi,
Looks like the headlight relay problem or the main switch.
Check the headlight relay by interchanging similar relay on the relay box, turn on the head light switch when doing that.
If the relay is still in good condition, the problem would be the headlight switch combination, that's the usual problem of Nissan, the metal contactors melted down the plastic cam that pushes the metal contact. Replace it if that is the problem.
Clean also the headlight bulb base contact, there might only be a mis contact of bulb.
Hope that FixYa helps you out!

The low beam lights do not work I have tried a new bulb and replacing the fuses. the high beam lights do work

You may have to check a few items here. Do the high beam lights only work when you "flash" from the combination stalk or do they work when you have headlight switch turned on and then select high beam from stalk..? You may also want to check out the headlight relay. If this is OK, you might have a headlight switch issue or the combination stalk may be faulty.
