Blower fan not working - Hyundai 2004 Santa Fe

My blower fan does not work for the past 2 days. I cannot seem to find the fuse for it. I opened the fuse panel and went though each and every fuse description, but I cannot seem to find the one for the blower fan. I also checked the manual and it does not give any information of the "culprit" fuse. There are relays in the engine compartment for the blower and A/C. But I know that is not the problem because my A/C light comes on and I can hear it click on. Any ideas?

Try a SHOCK test to the blower motor case. What I mean is SHOCK the case by hitting it with the palm of your hand (make sure you have the blower switch 'HIGH' and the IGN key also 'ON'.. if the blower starts working, you have an intermittent contact in the motor itself. If this doesn't work, get a test light and connect it to the connector that plugs into to the blower motor - if the test light illuminates, then the problem is obviously in the motor. If it doesn't, then you have a wiring/switch/power supply problem.

Heater fan only works on hight. 2004 hyundai santa fe

This problem is related to faulty blower motor resistor. The resistor is the part which controls the blower motor to work on required speeds. But if resistor fails then motor will work normally but will not work on selected speed like slow and medium .In this case replacing the resistor should help.To locate the resistor open your glove box and roll it all the down take off the panel in behind the resistor will be top right hand side. This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

I found a the main ground wire opened from the blower motor and have temporarily tapped into and ran the same size gauge wire to known chase ground to quickly get running... (Florida-heat) Of course this is set to Hi position. I will need a schematic to complete trouble-shooting. Suspect open ground circuit back to motor switch?

I have a 2004 santa fe, the A/C blower only works on high. There is power from the control head to under the dash, but where it goes into the fan there is no power except for when it is on high

How about when the heat is on? You might have 2 reostats, one for heater one for A/C.The reostat controls blower speed Most cars only have one ,but who knows seen stranger thjngs,I have had bad blower motors only work on high.My guess would be a reostat.
