Car will not turn over. the battery is charged and i can pop the clutch

Does the enginge turn over but not start when you pop the clutch? Or do the tires drag to a stop? If it drags to a stop you might be siezed up. If it turns over but does not start check for spark at the distributer via wire and start from there. Maybe cap-rotor etc. Good luck

I have 2002 mazda b2500 4x2 pickup every now and then i can smell the clutch burning out and it feels like my brakes are holding me back slightly. Was wondering if this is common and is it more likely that...

It could be either one. Best way to find out is to lift the vehicle and turn the tires and see which one is dragging. It could be the hand brake cable, if both back tires seem to drag. It could be brake hoses. best way to check is find the tire/ tires dragging and release the pressure at the bleed valve. if it releases the brake then I recommend you replace all the brake hoses. if it doesn't release then replace the caliper. If you haven't done a brake job on this vehicle, maybe now is a good time

Steering wheel vibration and whine noise from rear of car

Yes, and it probably is your wheel bearing. Hearing a sound like a chain dragging is classic. You may also hear a clicking noise or chain dragging noise when turning to the left or right.

Look under the car and see if the rubber boots that surround the axle near the tires are cracked and leaking grease. If so, it is almost a certainty that the bearings are bad as you have lost grease and thus lubrication to the bearings.

Good luck,
bob
