yes i already did that and everything seems fine. I am thinking there is another relay or fuse i am missing somewhere just dont know where to look

  • bej9863 May 21, 2009

does anyone know where the fuses and relays are exactly located I am unable to find a diagram any wear

  • bej9863 May 21, 2009

Changed bulbs changed all relays i can find changed all fuses changed the switch. If i hot wire lights they work but its not the switch i bought 2 just in case one was bad. the chances of buying 2 brand new at auto zone and 2 from junk yard all being junk is slim and none so there is something screwy somewhere. Anyone wanna buy a haunted 95 buick it knows i need it to transport my daughter when she goes into labor sometime in the next 3 weeks and it now has problems

Do you have power at the headlight socket? Try a test light in the socket.

If you have power to the socket, then it's your bulbs that are the problem. Or a bad ground wire.

I thought you said you had power there, you tested it, right? If you have power, you don't need to look for relays or fuses. You need to look for the ground wire. Once you've tested the ground wire, then all it can be is bulbs. Change them . Yes , they can both burn out.

run a separate grond wire to them, and see waht happens. If it works, you have a broken or dirty ground wire.

If headlights don't come on on a 2000 Buick Lesabre what do you think is wong

first go for the easy stuff. do the tail lights come on? if so, then will almost guarantee it's bad bulbs in headlights. if tail lights do not come on I would check fuses first relay second. switch third.

Dash lights on my 2004 buick rendezvous don't light up at night, can't find the fuse in the fuse box or under hood

I guess you could say there is no fuse for the dash lights.
The dimmer control on the headlight switch actually goes thru the body computer and the dash lights get their power from there. The body computer has several fuses involved. The other interior lights not controlled by the dimmer get power from the park lamp relay.

Marker lites stay on

Check the fuses. Usually Located Under the Dash On The Driver Side. If that doesnt seem to solve the problem, The Relay Switch might be broken.

Lights won't turn off on 97 Buick LaSabre

There is a maxi-fuse under the hood for the headlights. Until you get the car fixed, just pull out that fuse when you shut off or don't need lights.
It could be the Body Control Module (BCM) that is causing this. Without a multi-meter and a wiring diagram, you will be pretty much lost. One needs to start checking power in and power out on the appropriate wires. Like this: there will be a wire from the headlight switch to the bcm, then there will be a wire out from the module going to the lights or maybe to the dimmer switch, but it will be the power out wire. The BCM is under the dash, probably on the passenger side.
