Question about Cars & Trucks
The van is a fiat scudo, 54 plates. for the last 3 winters, the van has a tendency to die, after about 10 mins of driving. the van will not start again until 10-15 mins have passed. once it's going again it's fine. when the van has been idol for a few hours, and I start to drive again, the problem happens again. it doesn't happen everytime I have had a full service, and changed the cam and water pump, but the problem persists, and then for the rest of the year it runs ok.

this can be caused by a bad fuel filter or dirty injectors. try a bottle of fuel injector or fuel system cleaner in a tank of gas. i suggest lucas products which can be found at any parts store.

i would check your ignition system. you would need a meter for this but look for broke or loose connections. if it was a fuel problem i dont think it would just start up after 20 minutes. or you might try your ignition switch. if its shorting or something then ya well it would cut your engine off real quick
