2006 Dodge Charger drops out of gear while driving

Usually while attempting to get on the highway, car will drop out of gear. Does not allow me to shift it manually either. Usually corrects itself if I put her into "N"eutral, but not always the case.

I wish the warranty was still an option. Originally had the 100K mile warranty, but as I am the second owner, it never transfered and I was only able to get the 3 year, 30K warranty. Unfortunately that has lapsed as well and, being in the military, I was deployed when it was due to renew.

    Will try this after work.

Should still be under warranty, right? I think i'd take that one back to the dealer.

Well i guess your option are to first of all, change the oil and filter. That can solve all kinds of things. And try changing the speed sensor. Other than that...
