Battery and handbrake light stays on all the time and is running down the battery have bought a new alternator and battery but the problem is still there

You need to readjust the switch on your trunk door, or replace. To check it locate it, tape it down with duct tape and see if the light goes off. If not it's bad. If it does it means it isn't sticking out far enough to be turned off when the trunk is closed. The adjusment should be fairly obvious. If not you can simply unplug it which has the same result as turning it off.

i have a 2003 chevy silverado the riverse has not worked for 10.000 miles any sugesstionswhat this might be and or how much.

it sounds like your brake is either stuck or the line going to it has broke or popped off try taking the plastic shell from around it and lookin for a loose wire of cable thats not hooked up this should fix your problem
