My 2002 dodge durango front heater will not turn on but my rear heater works great

If none of the blower speeds work, check for power at the blower. If it's there your blower is bad. If you can't check or don't know how to check for power, just replace the blower if you have that symptom. If some of the blower speeds work, it's your resistor pack most likely. Potentially wiring too, but that should be a last resort unless you know what you are doing or just want to learn.

I have a 95 neon, and i have a problem about the block heater because, one morning i just saw the plug of my block heater and the socket from the outlet is like been short circuite and now i think its not...

you don't state your skill level, so I would not presume to give you detailed instructions regarding the problem. However, if you can use a digital multimeter, or have a friend that can. have them check the plug and wiring on the block heater by using the meter. You will know the condition of the block heater in a few moments. The block heater may just need the power plug replaced if you are fortunate.

Good luck.

My 1991 isuzu trooper heater blower fan is not working, nor when i turn it to the airconditioner the compressor does not engage. i checked all the fuses except the ac relay fuse block, what could the...

if the lower fan speeds dont work but the fastest speed does the heater fan resistor block needs replacing. If the highest fan speed doesnt work leave it on there and check for power at heater blower fan, if power is on one wire and the other is an earth the blower motor fan needs replacing. Use a normal globe test light to check this. If no power on any wires to fan go back and check all fuses in car and under bonnet with same test light. If fuses are ok possible open circuit wire to fan.

1998 infinity I30 heater quit working, no heat, everything else AC and is working.

you dident give much info to go off of, but check the resistor, and the blower for being faulty. unclip the harness to the fan, and give it a power and ground source manually, if it kicks on, the try replacing the resistor. if none of this applies, then check to see if the cooling system is full and flowing, a stuck thermostat will block flow to the heater core.

I would use a multimeter and check the power side of the fuse block to see if power is making it to the fuse block. If so then you will have to check each wiring circuit one at a time to find the problem. Just for refference the older Jeeps had a very poor connection block. This is the main power connection at the fire wall in the engine compartment. It is at the back of the engine at the fire wall. For several years Jeep purchased some very small and cheep connection pins and they failed all the time. You may have one of these vehicles. The ones brought to me for repair I cut the connection block completely out and put new quality connections on each wire. None of these repairs every had the problem again.

Heater not working properly

Your heater core could be blocked. The easiest way to find out is pull it and see if there is anything in it. If not have your cooling system completely flushed out. also make sure none of the heater core hoses are being crimped.

Block Heater not working

There is no fuse on a block heater. It is an extension cord with a resistor (element) on the end (see photo. If it not working, the resistor (coil) has failed. A new block heater is required.
Before replacing, however, check the outlet and/or beaker the outlet is on to see if it has tripped.
b582a38.jpg I too live in s/e Michigan, and it was -19 this am. No block heater can keep up with these extreme temps.
