Hello Daniel, you may be having different problem and one of them is that battery terminals comes with some plastic covers and a lot of people place the car cables on top causing false contact, also have you connect the battery the right way? remember this Japanese cars when you connect the cables the wrong way you burn the main fuse or maybe me more and last thing you want to check is if the previous battery was loosing battery acid it starts eating battery cables causing false contact so if its you case make sure you clean the inside part of the terminals before you connect them in the battery terminals letme know if you need more info ok

What size battery for 2006 ridgeline key remote?

The replacement is a #CR-1616 which is actually a fairly oddball battery that I found at a Walgreen's store. It wasn't available in the 'Big Box' building supply store near me, in CVS pharmacy or in Walmart. It's a 3 V. lithium battery.

Recommended service for your 2006 Honda Ridgeline:

Replace VTM-4 rear differential fluid: Driving in mountainous areas at very low vehicle speeds or trailer towing results in higher level of mechanical (shear) stress to fluid or frequently fully loaded. This requires differential fluid changes more frequently than recommended by the Maintenance Minder. If you regularly drive your vehicle under these conditions, have the differential fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).

Replaced battery on 2008 Honda Ridgeline and hooked up backwards. Hooked up correctly now and truck has nothing. What can I check next?

Hooking up the battery the wrong way around most likely has damages the electronics and computer.
You need an auto electrician or the Honda service center to fix your vehicle.

I have an 08 honda ridgeline and my battery died and i dont know the code to unlock it. any help? im pretty sure i didnt change it so its probably the factory one.

You need the code for the radio right? If so push and hold the 1 and 6 and push the power button. you will have two sets of numbers come up on the screen write these down and call your dealer. Give them the numbers and tell them you need a radio code. Then input the numbers in the radio and push the fm button.

Hi, I bought a 2007 Honda Ridgeline The radio

you can call honda if it is the factory radio.. if you give them the vin number they should be able to help you... once you receive it you should keep it saved somewhere because every time you disconnect the battery it will reset again... sometimes you can find the code in the owners manual or sometimes you get a little card with the code on it... good luck

RADIO CODE FOR '06 HONDA RIDGELINE

You will need to remove the radio from the das, and get the numbers off the back of it. Then you will need to call a honda dealership with your vin number and the numbers off the back of the radio. they will be able to get the code for it. The reason being, is for security, like if your radio was stolen a thief couldn't just reactivate it without the proper info.
Hope this helps!
