Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 1500
For a few months now they may or may not come on...but came on when I tapped the top of the steering column a couple times. That stopped working so I put a new multifunction switch in...nothing still.
Check the wiper arm motor under the hood. Sometimes its the fuse, Check the circuit breaker for continuity across the terminals If an open circuit is indicated replace the circuit breaker. Also check between the circuit motor and the ground, and check the battery voltage with ignition on (don't start) if it test for voltage good and the motor still don't work its a faulty wiper motor. A used wiper motor will work as well as a new $$$$$$ one.Denton auto salvage 785-437-2223 test all their parts for working condition before shipping and have a 30 day return on them

You need to pull your steering wheel and get access to the small plastic tube with tabs on it. they sometimes come loose from the holder in the steering wheel fram. It's held in place by one tiny pin that you push in and turn one quarter turn to the right. If you find that his pin has broken off, a drop of superglue and a pair of needle nose pliers will do the permanent fix. Have a couple beers first because you only have a matter of seconds to get this spring and tube back in place. Can't have any shaking going on. Good luck, Dana
