SOURCE: oil pump

Unless your Dodge is a very high mileage car, the pump is probably OK. Much less reliable is the pressure sensor for the idiot light but it need not have failed, I have seen the orifice for the sensor actually clogged with gunk dense enough to disable them.
If you are very concerned, I would have a shop check the actual oil pressure but I think just buying the sensor and replacing it yourself would be my first move. On some engines, the sensor is in the block close to the oil filter and needs only a single lead to connect it. They aren't expensive, probably less cost than a 1/2 hour of shop time in any case.
If you can't find it, it might be a good time to buy a Haynes or Chilton manual for your van; you'll get your money's worth over time.

SOURCE: 1998 dodge caravan stalls with oil light on

I recommend very highly that you get the Haynes repair manual on this vehicle. If the oil level is correct and you are getting an oil pump light you need to have it checked. That light comes on when oil pressure drops. This could be the oil pump being bad or a bad sensor. The Haynes manual will tell you haw to trouble shoot this on your vehicle and how to repair it.

My check engine light comes on intermittently and when i stop the oil light comes on and dings I am told this could be an oil pump - how hard is this to fix on my vehicle - Dodge Grand Caravan 2000 3.8L V6

yes this is true it could be a oil pump but first check the oil level first. most oil pumps are inside the oil pan. and most pans can only be taking off by lifting motor up or the exagust off

Oil light came on when idling; oil changed; still happening occasionally. If I put it in park or neutral and rev it - the oil light goes out. Could it be the oil sending/pressure unit? Is there an easy way...

make sure are using a genuine dodge oil filter and correct grade of oil to check further you need to have the oil pressure checked using a master gauge a garage would do this for you if ok replace pressure switch if very low could be pump and bearing wear is the idle speed set too low i would check this
