Replaced motor and im getting power to the distributor and to the coil packs but it wont fire we have changed the cam and crank sensors and nothing does anyone know how to help please

Without a look under the bonnet sorry hood i couldnt tell you ,yes your getting power to the coils but it may not be sparking due to the immobilisor system as this breaks the earth return circuit ,i think the best bet is to ask a local mechanic to have a look for you ,also you havent stated the year of the vehicle as this can help to decide a answer for a question as vehicles do differ with different years of manufacture although the smae model

My 1990 hond accord will turn over but wont start can you please help

MAKE SURE SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES IN GOOD CONDITION, REPLACE DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR,CHECK FOR SPARK AT SPARK PLUGS,IF YOU DONT SEE SPARK CHECK TO SEE IF POWER GOING TO COIL IF NOT CHECK IGNITION FUSE.IF FUSE OKAY AND POWER GOING TO IGNITION COIL,COIL FAULTY OR IGNITER UNIT FAULTY. CHECK FOR FUEL PRESSURE MAKE SURE FUEL FILTER BEEN CHANGED.FUEL PRESSURE SHOULD BE 40 PSI. IF YOU GETTING SPARK AND FUEL. YOUR IGNITION TIMING OFF OR VALVE TIMING OFF DUE TO A WORN TIMING BELT.

Wont start, no spark anywhere

Check the spark, remove the fuse to the fuel pump and remove one of the spark plugs. Connect the plug to its lead and position it well away from the engine against the truck frame (do not hold it) and turn the engine over, check the spark. If no spark it most probably a faulty coil. Check the impedance of the spark plug leads and replace any that are much higher than the rest. My guess is that you have spark but no fuel, What?... OK this is what I think is wrong. Your pump is fine when at position 2 on the ignition switch however when you switch to position three to fire the engine the power to the fuel pump is momentarily disconnected. A leaking fuel pressure regulator or injector would drop the pressure in the fuel line and at the same time flood the engine making it impossible to start. Once you start the engine with ether the ignition is back to position 2 and the pump can make good any loss in pressure but because the intake mix is rich this will cause the engine to run rich too. A good fuel system is capable of delivering 40 - 50PSI of fuel pressure and when switched off up to 90% of this pressure should be maintained for about 5 minutes, if it cannot check out the fuel pressure regulator and injectors. The fuel pipe should be capable of filling a pint pot in about 15 seconds, if it cannot check out the fuel filter is clogged.
Hope the above gives you some pointers

99 chevy blazer cranks but wont start

CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE FIRST IT SHOULD BE 12.5 VOLTS.IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY HAVE ALTERNATOR CHECKED.IF BATTERY GOOD.HAVE VECHICLE SCAN FOR PCM PROBLEMS - CRANKSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS OR CAMSHAFT SENSOR PROBLEMS.IF ALL IS GOOD GET A SPARK TESTER AND FUEL PUMP PRESSURE GAUGE TESTER.IF GETTING NO SPARK PROBLEM COULD BE LOOSE BAT.POWER SUPPLY WIRES AT IGNITION COIL MODULE OR IGNITION MODULE FAULTY.IF FUEL PUMP NOT RUNNING CHECK FUSE ABD RELAY IF BOTH IS GOOD FUEL PUMP FAULTY.

I have a '97 chevy tahoe. the engine cranks, but won't start. checked trouble codes & got cycliner misfire, O2 sensor, & catalytic converter codes. i've replaced plugs & wires. still won't...

first, check all the fuses
did you check to see if there's spark at spark plugs?
did you check the fuel pressure? you need to do that to isolate fuel and ignition system.
if there is no fuel then check for fuel pump operation
if there is no spark then check the ignition system (coil, module and wirings)
if you don't have either one then the problem is in the computer system such as crank sensor, and computer itself

1997 dodge ram won't start. My fuel pump does not run and coil won't spark. Iv'e checked fuses and relays and they look fine. Could a bad fuel pump cause the asd to kill power to the coil?

First check any ignition/fuel related fuses. Check to make sure you have 12 volts coming into the pump and coil. If nothing to the fuel pump replace the fuel pump relay - if you do have power to the fuel pump then replace the pump. If nothing is coming to the coil it is either an ignition relay or a wiring issue. If you have 12 volts to the coil but no spark then replace the coil.
Also the fuel pump/relay would not kill the coil.

91 eagle talon 2.0 going doun the road quit running, checked coil for spark nothing but i also checked fuel pump an nothing ecsept when u crank the engine shouldnt it pressurise before trying to start?

No spark and no fuel pressure? That sounds like a bad ECU. I would check the ignition coil, and the signal coming from the ECU to the ignition coil. Then I would check the voltage going to the fuel pump. Next, check the timing belt and make sure the correct timing is set.

When you turn your key to the ON position, you should hear your fuel pump pressurize for a few seconds.
