Hi there, seems like your clutch is going out, and the fuel pump might be going as well, take it to a smog and repair shop or a shop that has an OBD2 reader, they should tell you, should be a charge for it since the thing is hand held and plugs in near your legs, or on the right or left side of the areas, sometimes behind the ashtray, if you look you'll see a odd shaped plug or a cover that says obd...thats how you read your check ingine light codes, usually portains to the smog or emmissions of the car, i have one so they should be able to help you out.....hope this helps you out....shia

Mazda 626 - Hard to shift into gear.

With any vehicle that has a hydraulic clutch, a worn master cylinder or slave cylinder will give this very symptom. First step is to check the fluid in the resivor. If it is low, you will want to check for fluid bypassing the seals. Be sure to check under the rubber dust cover as fluid can collect there and not be readily visible. Also, if the fluid in the resivor is dark colored, it is an indication of the internal seals going bad and you will need to replace the cylinders.

2004 mazda 3 transmission problem

Check transmission fluid. If that is full, try changing the fuel filter. It could be starving for gas, and trying to shift but can't. It could also be the speed sensor, or shift solenoid.

Check engine light came on and now shifts hard from park to drive

The engine light is telling you, you have a transmission problem which sound like a shift solenoid. If you take the care to a local garage or dealer you can have them scan the vehicle for the problem code, which will tell you which solenoid is bad.

2000 mazda bogging in all gears especially in 1st and 2nd gears ?

Judging from what i know, the timing on the engine is probably a bit off, and i remember reading the exact same problem on another web site and that is also what they said. So just check the timing on the engine or have it checked by a mechanic if you don't know how to do it.
