How to unstick a frozen latch on the lift gate?

Hi John:
Odds are pretty good that the latch mechanism will be jammed with a small rock or other piece of debris.
The trick is to use a bent wire, screwdriver, or bubblegum on a stick (whatever works) to snag the offending chunk.
Patience, perseverence, and a sense of humour. You'll get it.

1995 Audi A6--Cant find obd-1 port--It isnt anywhere anybody says it is!!!

Hello antibowtie,

There three different locations it could be in depending on which fuel/ignition system you have. Below I will provide you with all three, I 'll include pictures also.

This data link connector is located in the lower corner of the auxiliary relay box in the engine compartment left side.

The next one is located in the center console to the rear of the ash tray under a cover.

And the third location is behind the front storage compartment in the center console.

I hope this helps you.

Hood will not open, latch stuck

Have someone push down hard on the hood,in the front where the
latch is, while somebody pulls on the release in the car. Sometimes
this helps get it open. Once it's open, spray the entire latch mechanism with WD-40 or something similar to unstick it. Good luck.

Trying to locate manual release tab 1998 Corvett fuel door

The fuel filler door release is the black button at the front of the center console storage compartment.

If your fuel filler door release won’t operate, there is a manual release tab. The tab is located against the upper trim in the rear compartment on the driver's side.
