The labor time on these includes pulling the front, removing the old engine, swapping the top end (intake, accessories, and recharging the A/C ) and reinstalling with test drive. Pays 20.1 hours. An experienced tech can do these in 8 complete. Let me know if you need any shop manuals.

What should water pump replacement labor cost be on my 2006 H2 Hummer

List price for the pump is around $250 and labor is 2.2 hours to replace it. Now it all depends on the $ per hour of the shop you take it to, and how much of a mark up on the parts they'll do. They might be under list, or they might be over. It all depends on how greedy they are, I personally hope you find a place that's honest. My dealer is $91 per hour and would probably charge $225 for that water pump. You could find an aftermarket one for a lot cheaper.
I hope this info helps!~subyguru~

Overheating

thank you for choosing fixya.com and welcome!have you replaced your thermostat lately? it may also only be low coolant in your radiator.just make sure that your radiators full of coolant. there are alot of things to look at when overheating is an issue. is your cooling fan coming on? #1thing low coolant,,,#2 thing leaking or bad water pump,do you see fluid leaking from under the front of car when the radiators full? #3 bad thermostat in the engine, replacement thermostat not that bad. less than $75.00 parts and labor, suggest you shop at local garages, not dealer. compare prices. or ban radiator fan. and the fan replacement can depend on motor size.look for motor size under the hood and call for parts and labor prices seperatly.do not call same garage to get labor and parts prices,be smart, call the dealer and get the highest price for part and labor. then call your mechanic to get estimates of your repair. thank you!

Ac in 2006 hummer went out without warning

I am a Service Advisor for a Hummer Dealer. I can tell you that we have seen some of the 06 h3's with the same problem you are having. The blower motor resistor and harness will probably need to be replaced. The connectors on these have a tendency to melt. If you are still in factory warranty, it will be covered under your warranty, otherwise at the dealer the repair runs around $650.00 parts and labor. Hope this helps.
