Question about 2003 Mercury Mountaineer
A fault has occurred and switched the light on, it will need to be switch off with a scanner, need to check out the system to find the fault or the light will come back on straight away. A good place to start is the connector to the front seats for the seat belt tensioners. This cable gets more movement with adjusting the seat, I have found this to be the fault on about 70 per cent of faults found. Good luck
