Try disconecting battery and use a charging system to the power leads not to the battery as the battery sounds like itd draining too much once you get the kia started connect the battery carefully leave running with as meny items running but if u have central locking dont leave keys in car

It's normal for belts to loosen up a little after installation. I'd check the belt and re-tighten until there's no slack. A slipping belt would certainly cause the issue you have. Hope this answers your question. Best of luck!

SOURCE: I tried jump starting a

Lights, horn, and other accessories use a lot less power than the vehicle's starter. With many vehicles you need to wait 10 to 20 minutes with the jumpers connected and the source vehicle running before you try to start.

SOURCE: car turns over but wont start it is a kia sedona

the car will not start if the immo light is not lit. sometimes turning the key back and forth or removing it and locking then unlocking the car can sometimes remedy this.

I replaced battery in 2005 Kia Sedona, still no power to anything.

Most cars of that vintage have a large "master" fuze near the battery. Ford uses a fusable link (pain to replace), but most others use a large fuze that bolts in to the fuze box. It looks like a square, the size of a postage stamp, with two metal rings for the bolts coming from each side. Cost about $5, try jumping that and replacing it if bad.

2005 sedona won't start all of a sudden. Doesn't make a sound except for a tiny whirring sound like the feul injectors. Replaced starter...still won't start. checked all fuses...they are good....

you could just have dead cell in the battery which isn't getting enough amps to the starter,, have the battery LOAD checked,, that will tell you if the battery is actually good, just because it registers 12 volts isn't necessarily an indication that the required amps are present.

Although its had a new battery and alternator it will not start without jump starting off another car

hi from uk if you are connecting jump leads the correct way ? ie positive from doner battery? to positive on your battery ? then the negative from doner battery must be connected to the engine of your car at a suitable point/earth (not to the negative battery terminal) ? if your car starts ok then try this remove jump leads from your battery then just connect a jump lead from your negative /eart terminal and the other end to the engine if car starts with this ? then your problem is the vehicles earth lead from battery is either loose/broken or corroded? check its connections at battery and the point it connects to engine usually with a bolt that connects clutch housing to rear of engine ? on most cars in fact may i suggest you checkall other earth cables/leads too these are thinner and connect at car body and to engine these are common faults that affect the various sensors for engine half the time due to poor or corroded connections to body hope this helps ?
