How do you replace 1983 bmw 320i tun signal indicator bulb

Hi David,

It;s been a while since I've done this on this car but if my memory serves e properly:

Start here:
There are 2 (maybe 3) small screws you need to remove, one on the top and one on the bottom of the light. You need a screwdriver with a long shaft to get them out.

Once you've removed the screws, remove the plastic orange light cover.

Once you've removed the cover, find the bulb with 2 filiments, gently rotate it about 90 degrees and pull it out. Insert your new bulb with the same process. Test it, if all looks good then put everything back together.

If you can't see the screws in the front turn signal you may need to remove the front grill from the side with the bad bulb: There are 3 or so small screws on the bottom and top of the grlll that need to be removed, then gently pull out the grill and you should have access to the screws in the housing. Let me know if this works, it's been about 20 years since I've done this.

Here is an exploded view of the light housing:

Water leak driver side floor board, when it rains

The only way to find it is to have someone putting water on the top and you get inside and check where is it leaking from. Also check for rusty trails. Remove covers, panels if needed. The front leaks usually come through windscreen seal or door seals. Check those areas first. Sometimes finding a water leak means removing all the interior, but you will get it sooner or later.

Just had my 1999 jeep grand cherokee front differental (dana 30 3:73 ) replaced at a cost of $900 ,noticed the front cover was never totched (dirt on bolts) . CAN THIS TASK BE PERFORMED without removing...

Yes. The front differential can be changed without opening the front cover. I'd say it looks like a used differential was obtained and installed. The differential (assembly) is the entire front assembly housing the axles. If an axle were to be changed then the differential cover would have had to be removed to access the components.

I just find it somewhat unusual that the cover was not taken off by the part supplier to inspect the integrity of the pinion gears etc... I remove used parts nine hours per day, and unless I know for a fact that the (front) rear is good, I take the cover off to inspect it for wear and/or potential damage. In this regard, it may have been one of those instances. Check the bolts on the trailing arms (the bolts on the arms that lead to the frame) and other bolts to see if they've been disturbed, if you suspect foul play.

I REALLY NEED HELP OF HOW TO FIX THE FRONT LIGHT OF THE TRAIL BLAZER. SO CAN YOU LED ME KNOW HOW TO IT OFF AND CHANE THE BOLT, PLEASE?

To change the bubs, the easies way Is to take off the front grill. the grill has 4 clips on the top (2 near each light) and 2 on the bottom (1 near each light) there is one in the center, behind the chevy sign. once the clips are off the light cage has two levers that must be pull (up) and then you can remove the light cage and replace the bubs by twisting them.
