the coolent was coming from a tube under the intake, one of the two bolts that held the tube to the intake was never tightened by the last person who worked on it, but other motors that had that leak found it was the o-ring on thet tube.

There should be a metal plug inset in the hole, it is called a freeze plug. It's purpose is for if your water or coolant freezes the plug is designed to pop out of the block so that the motor block won't crack from the expansion when liquid freezes. It is a lot easier and cheaper to replace a freeze plug than to replace the whole motor block.

Ford engine diagrams

You did not specify which ENGINE your F-150 has, but I'll assume it's the 5.0L V8 (most common). The 5.0L only has ONE "weep hole," and that's at the base of the water pump housing where it mounts to the front of the engine block. There is no other "weep hole."

My 1995 F250 is leaking radiator fluid under the engine behind the fan

Is antifreeze coming from "weep" hole in bottom of case under shaft nose?
is it coming from the heater hose (small hose coming of side and going into firewall to heater core inside engine compartment?
is it coming from bad gasket between pump and front case?

get a paper towel and dry these areas then start engine. when it starts leaking that will tell you if you need to change the water pump (gasket leak or weep hole shaftseal leak) or if you just need to replace/repair heater hose.

Water leaking from front of oil pan

Very likely coming from the weep hole in the water pump, and dribbling down front of engine.
The weep hole is usually on the hidden side (back) of water punp and not easily seen. follow the trickle.
When water pump begins to leak like that, it means the bearing are wearing, and the seal is giving out as consequense. It will steadliy get worse. Verify the source of leak and replace the water pump if indicated..

ABS units do not have weep holes. It might be a bleeder valve, but it's not supposed to leak. Have it looked at.

I have a water leak in the back of the engine fan

there is a small "weep" hole in the water pump. When the bearing seals go out on the water pump coolant will exit this hole.

98 sebring jxi convertible. water pools in my back floor board

Sebring Convertibles have weep holes under the body that get clogged with debris and cause the water to back up into the floor. Take a paper clip and straighten it to clean out the weep holes. The weep holes can be found just under the frame at the doors where there is a seam(about where the jack would go). Along this seam about ervery 12 or 16 inches there will be a small slot for the water to drain.

Water is leaking from the little nozzle behind the water pump - how to fix

Water pumps have a vent or "weep" hole. If any coolant is coming out of the weep hole, the water pump is defective and will have to be replaced. Best wishes.

I have radiator fluid dripping from the bottom hose that looks like it leads to my engine

First check to make sure the hose clamp is tight. You need to check both clamps . One at each end. Also check to make sure the fluid is not leaking from the weep hole at the water pump shaft. If the fluid is coming out of the small weep hole you need to replace the water pump. Good luck. If you need more guidance feel free to come back to our site and ask more questions. We are glad to help in any way we can.
