also replaced the fuse and did not flash either. went to Autozone, and the tech told me to look under my dashboard/steering wheel and to replace that fuse, also did and still not flashing? what to do?

  • robnicryan May 28, 2009

The flasher in the yellow square box is the four way flasher for the hazards. dealer told me and gave me a diagram of the turn signal flasher which is to be blue in color and behind the radio or where the guages are. I tore apart the whole gauge panel above the steering column and area where the radio is and could not find it. I have also tried to replace the fuse and could not get the turn signal flasher to work still. Anyone know where the turn signal flasher is please let me know.

    Thanks

you need this for 2002 Explorer? Your listing is under 1998. Which do you need?

  • gerry bissi May 28, 2009

I'm showing it in the upper left corner, but I'm seeing 2 views of the fuse panel. Maybe there's a front and back to the panel. I can not send as they are PDF's. Not supported here. send me email address.

PS. There was a change in Feb of 2002 for Explorer.

Where is the location of the turn signal flasher?

I have a 94 Sonoma and to locate the turn signal flasher, inside, under dash, on left side is a plastic sound protector, mine had 3 screws holding it up, drop this down and straight in you will see a 1" round thing - this is the flasher.
