Question about 1999 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
I am having to crank it over multiple times to get it to start, when it starts it runs fine. When I shut it off and let it sit for any amount of time, same issue. Crank it multiple times and it will finally fire up. I have replaced fule filter, as well as cleaned the M.A.S ( Mass Airflow Sensor ) What could be casuing this?
Check the line on your fuel pump inside your tank, the line from the fuel pump to the top of the tank could have a pinhole in it.causing it to lose pressure, until pressure gets built up engine will not start.

Your starter could be starting to go south on you. You are having to crank it multiple times becuase it isn't spinning fast enough the first time to start the engine. When you crank it several times it heats up the starter and it will spin a little bit faster. Take the starter to your parts store and have them check it out for you. They should do it for free.
