SOURCE: transmission problem

sounds like a linkage problem, stuck in drive. look for a cable going to the transmission and see if moving the shift selector moves the cable gong into the tranny, may work best to have a friend help so you can feel the cable. either that or well.. lets just hope it is the linkage that is causing this problem

My car wont move forward or reverse

Chances are is that the torque converter needs to be replaced. However, the transmssion on this vehicle are only serviceable by transmision shops. No regular mechanic will open up the transmission. When the torque converter fails (clutch and plates shutters to small pieces) the debri flows in the transmision thereby potentially destroying the gears and/or clogging the filter and pump. Go straight to a reputable transmission shop and let them correctly diagnose the transmission.

The answer is pretty easy, the transmission has failed, have it checked for forward clutch failure.

Reverse parking light wire color coding for Honda civic 02

Check the wires with the car in reverse and the key turned on, use a meter. On cars the black is usually the ground but you need to check to be sure.
