SOURCE: Replace rear passanger seat belt mechanism

The mechanism is located behind the plastic cover on the door side. You'll need to remove this trim piece to get at it. It's held on by screws. When you get to the mechanism it is held on by a torx bolt.
Good luck

shoot the mouse !!!! ,,,, sorry coldnt resist ,,, you have to lift rear seatbase and boot carpet to get at the seat back bolts ,,, not a big problem ,,, the big one is getting at the seat belt because u have to remove alot of trim to get at the seat belt bolts ,,, alot of clips are involved that will break so source new clips before you start the job ,,,,rotten job so feel so sorry for you ,,,,

Need instructions on how to replace the middle back seat seat belt on a 1998 toyota camry

The rear seat pulls out. Lift up firmly on the front of the rear seat and the whole thing pulls up and out. Once this is done you can access the bolts that secure the rear center seat belt for replacement.
