First things I would inspect are TIRE PRESSURES, set to factory specs. Not knowing the mileage, but I would check the condition of the shocks.and springs. Hope this helps

They do feel top heavy and if you have a lifted one it gets even worse it will take a while to get used to it. you can check to make sure the sway bar bushings are not worn out as this will make it worse.

Why do Grand Cherokee Limited 1998 over steer?

The mechanical stops for the steering may not be correct, OR it is 'normal' and because the wheel is turned so far the inside tire is really scrunched. Also try increasing the tire pressure to the max in the manual

95 Jeep Grand Cherokee front end feels like it's fighting either side either way I turn cv shafts are <10k on them...it feels like the front spider gear is stuck

Not familiar with the ZJ, but does it have a locking differential? Do they use limited slip additive in ZJ diff? If so, then its probably due for a fluid change and new additive.

I have a 1994 jeep grand cherokee laredo and everytime i drive for a period of time it feels like when i make turns something is rubbing or hesitating.

Contact the dealership and purchase the rear differential additive, this product assists the limited slip diff in opperating correctly. once purchased simply ad to the rear differential. it only takes about 250ml

Can a Jeep Grand Cherokee feel safe round corners on tarmac?

Those have coil spring suspension at all four corners. If the springs are weak it can give you a bit more body roll than you'd like to see. Make sure you have four good quality shocks as well. In extreme cases you may want to install the police version of the sway bars on there which are generally larger in diameter and offer more roll resistance as well.

My 2001 jeep grand cherokee limited back up lights wont work. No fuse listed just for b/u lights.

You have a switch on the transmission that turns the back up lights on when put into reverse. It may need adjusting. It has to be done with carefulness. The car has to be in reverse and the switch adjusted at the same time until the back-up lights come on. It may be safer for a shop to do this unless you feel comfortable doing it.

Check on Ebay for Jeep Grand Cherokee Harness Kit. The plug on your harness may be melted like mine was. I bought this kit, followed the instructions in his ad and it worked great. All I had to do was cut off my old plug and solder this one on. Even the wire colors matched so there was no guessing.
