No remote key only how do I disarm the car alarm? Will not crank. help!!

Try locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key. If this doesn't work, try disconnecting the battery and touching both cables together and then reconnecting the battery. Hope this works for you

I lost the alarm remote for my 1996 camry I still have the key but I cannot disable the alarm?

If this alarm system makes it you engine won't start, it is a little more complicated but if all it does is make noise then open the door, open the hood, find the alarm horn (it will be the one making all the noise) and cut the wires. They can be easily spliced back together once you get a new remote.

I lost the remote to my 1996 Toyota Camry, which disables the alarm on the car. Is there away to manually disable the alarm so I can be able to start it without the alarm going off?

When you use the key to start the car the alarm will disarm. You can now purchase replacement key fob's from Autozone. They are easy to program and cheaper than the dealer. I would recommend checking ebay as well for a replacement fob.

Replaced the battery on my 95 Camry and as soon as I open the door the alarm starts sounding. Help.

you set off the alarm.if you do not have the remote, get one as you need to unlock it with the remote.some vehicles if you lock and unlock the passenger door twice, will turn it off. call toyota, they can reset it more than likely with the obd2 computer. in the future, when changing the battery,a back up battery has to be wired in parallell with the main battery before it is disconnected.

get rid of the alarm. its either defective or what have you. either way the alarm is tied into ignitions and some times the function of critical electrical components

Replace the batteries in both remotes. If the battery is weak, the alarm does not set properly. Also, if the vehicle has a "glass breakage sensor" (under the instrument pod, driver side); it may need to be turned down slightly.
