The vacuum line sounds like it is not hooked up properly. Take it in to a qualified service mechanic

The first thing you need done is to have the electronic engine control module scanned for codes, this is called a OBD 1 fault code test. It takes a special scan took so a shop or dealer will need to perform the test.

Vacuum hoses

The problem is,that there are lots of hoses,we don't know as you
don't, what the real issues are or if hoses are even a problem

So if you have no back yard mechanic friends, you have to go

The most secure and positive results direction is to take down the vin #
Call the local dealer [s] - [ some are way more helpful than others] and
1- Ask about RECALLS
2- Ask about SERVICE BULLETINS
3-Ask about getting the vacuum hose diagram
The reason I say ask for it third is you may have a recall on this problem and you don't want to tip your hand.

ALSO the reason you want the diagram based on your Vin# is they change the routing in mid year a lot now.

Dpfe sensor broke in the REF tube

One hose is reference the other is pressure, the hoses are different sizes, do you have the factory high-temp silicone hoses required? they are different sizes so you can't mix them up, vacuum hose will burn up in short order, the failure of this sensor is almost always caused by excessive exhaust back pressure, you may have a cat converter starting to plug up.
