Question about 1994 Mitsubishi Galant
Sounds like your upstream o2 sensor is shot causing an incorrect signal to the ecu throwing off you fuel/air ratio, you need to do a diagnostic scan for fault codes to see exactly what it is. If it's the o2 sensor be sure to replace it with an ORIGINAL , you will get the same problem with those universal o2 sensors.
