Truck running fine then all the sudden started misfiring and skipping had no power at all when put in gear but seamed to idle fine when in park but rough when given gas changed fuel filter first thought it was clogged but did not fix problem does this mean it has a bad coil

K the next thing to check is the throttle position sensor. It's probably going bad. The same thing happened to me on my 1995 F250 5.8L
