a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You have to open it from the inside and take off the entire back panel on door from there you will find your way if not write back.

YOU SHOULDN'T SEE THE INTERIOR ROD MOVE BECAUSE THE OUTSIDE HANDLE HAS IT'S OWN ROD THAT CONNECTS TO THE DOOR RELEASE THAT IS REALLY SHORT. IT MOVES DOWN WHEN THE HANDLE IS PULLED UP. TAKE OFF THE THREE SCREWS THAT HOLD THE DOOR CATCH ON THE DOOR AND YOU WILL SEE THIS SMALL ROD. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. LET ME KNOW. GOOD LUCK

Get special door-panel removal tools. Harbor Freight Tools has a kit with several odd looking tools that are especially made for removing door panels.
You will have to do trial and error to see which one works best on yours. Usually you can find them at the store or you can order online or over the phone if no store is nearby.
I also find that holding your tongue just right- without biting- helps with getting those clips undone.
