I believe there is either a warranty or TSB about an air bag light on from a computer update Hyundai has warranty. Call them first. Good Luck

you have a memory code thats why lite is still on..why is your airbag lite on?it needs to be scanned to see whats wrong and to clear codes

1999 hyundai accent air bag went off by itself-car won't start

Short circuit (or false positive) in one of the passenger's AB sensors circuitry (may be in door-to-body bundled cable). Have it replaced, reset electronics (refer to Manual), replace AB and go.

How would i kno how the alternator is going bad on my 1999 hyundai accent is it the headlights surging and air bag light on?

most auto parts stores can check your alternator and battery while it is in car. look for national chain auto parts store and they will be happy to help you most for free

You have a short inthe wire harness . look for black spots in the wires from the Alt to the fuse panel . A oversized fuse can also cause this .

The light is on due to a faulty sensor or SRS module. Call your dealer and see how long the AIRBAG system is warranted.

Air bag light stays on. can i reset it 2003 hyudai accent

Dealer scan tool is required to clear code. even if you fix the airbag error, the light will remain lit until it is cleared with scanner
