My "Air Bag" light will not go off. How do I reset the light ??

The "Air Bag" light has come on in my 1999 Hyundai Accent. I would like to reset it, but do not know how this is done.

Any help ?? Air bag light stays on

    air bag light stays on. Have disconnected battery. Checked sensors under front seats for good connections.

Short circuit (or false positive) in one of the passenger's AB sensors circuitry (may be in door-to-body bundled cable). Have it replaced, reset electronics (refer to Manual), replace AB and go.

You have a short inthe wire harness . look for black spots in the wires from the Alt to the fuse panel . A oversized fuse can also cause this .

The light is on due to a faulty sensor or SRS module. Call your dealer and see how long the AIRBAG system is warranted.

Air bag light stays on all the time

had the same problem twice it is usually the regulator in the alternator car still charges bur it spikes to 18 volts from the 14.5 volts causing it to trip the air bag light
