Go to and search for "1991 chevy cavalier water pump replacement". They have several videos on Cavaliers, one for a 1991 with a 3.1L engine. You didn't state engine size, so scroll through the search results to see if you find a video for your model engine (could be a different year though).

How do you add freon to a 2003 chevy cavalier ls

Cav uses R134 freon. Find the valve on the suction line. Attach a can of freon with a filler hose connection to the low pressure suction side. Start the engine and turn on the AC full force. Leave the can upright. Can should start getting cold and empty itself in few minutes. I think this system only holds about three cans. Add until the air gets cold or use a gauge if you have one to determine if it is full.

I am servicing my 2000 Cavalier LS A/C system. The Cavalier is equiped with a 2.2 engine. I will put a new orfice tube in. Can you tell me where this is located please?

Inside the evaporator where the A/C high pressure line enters at the passenger compartment. Unless you have a freon recycling machine and a license to work with freon, you can't fix it.

My air conditioner doesn't get cold

Freon is first issue. Possible freon leak. Air condensor leaking. Bad Compressor. Bad fuse. Many possibilities.

I'm trying to find out what kind of air conditioner coolant goes in a 1986 chevy cavalier, and how to refill it

it takes R12 freon, but R12 is no longer made because it damaged the Ozone layer, so u must have a automtive repair shop convert the R12 system to the newer R134, this is fairly expensive, about $200
