SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I fix a sagging floor? The center beam of my 1940's house is a light ga. Railroad track. It measures 4x4 and is about 30' long. Is there a way of working around the track?

You can jack the floor up from underneath with a temporary wall, or steel jack posts, and install a beam with posts on either side of the track. You can also, install permanent jack posts under the rail, spaced 6' apart, and slowly jack each one up creating level to the track and your home. Best to consult someone qualified on your area, before you attempt any of this work yourself. Unless you are qualified, you can seriously damage the structure of your home attempting any of this without qualified help or support. I'm a carpenter by trade and I've seen everything from sagging homes to homes collapse , because someone thought they knew what they were doing. Be careful, patient, and get help :)
Good luck!

Michael, do you have a question for us on Fixya? or are you just posting statements?

My abs, traction, and brake lights are on after a front brake and bearing job were done

By "were done" I am guessing someone else did the job for you. It is a common error at garages to forget to reconnect the sensors so that is my first thought but then you say you changed the front sensors, was that after the brake job and do you have 4 wheel ABS? The plugs for the sensors should always be cleaned if not replaced after a brake job in my opinion (high dirt area). More info will get you a better answer if you post back I may be able to help more/better.

The heat does not come out on my 2007 chrysler pacifica what could be the problem ?

I know that you have probably already figured this out but I thought I would post in case someone else was looking at this like I was. My heater wasn'y working properly in my 07 Pacifica and would only get hot after I drove it at fast speeds but as soon as I stopped it would blow cold again. It ended up being a small hole in the radiator. As soon as they filled it with antifreeze it worked normal again. So a quick easy cheap check would be to check the coolant first.

I HAVE A 1998 FORD EXPEDITION RECENTLY I PURCHASED $10.00 IN GAS THE TRUCK STARTED TO HESTITATE AS I BEGAN TO PUSH ON THE GAS PEDDAL, THOUGHT IT WAS BAD GAS BUT SOMEONE SAID IT MIGHT BE MY TRANMISSION...

this could be vapor lock if it started shortly after buying fuel. To fix vapor lock, just unscrew the gas cap and release any trapped built up air.
Hope that helps, worth a shot
if this is helpful, please give it a thumbs up to help others, if it doesn't solve the problem, please repost and mention you already tried the gas cap.
good luck,
